Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is centrally located on Douglas promenade, offering fine views of the bay area and easy access to shops and the seafront. The rooms come with the option of a shared bathroom for an additional £7, although lacking a table and featuring mattresses reminiscent of the mid-70s with poly cotton sheets. The service, unfortunately, falls short with a noticeable absence of customer care and a somewhat unpleasant attitude from the owner. The dining experience highlights a pancake platter menu.
I stayed at this hotel and loved how close it was to the sea front and the views of the bay area. The rooms were a good deal for an extra £7, especially the ones with a balcony. However, the mattresses felt sunken, and the poly cotton sheets seemed outdated.
The hotel enjoys a prime location on the main promenade in Douglas, offering fine views of the bay area and being very close to everything. While my room lacked a private bathroom but was clean and cozy, the inconsistent customer service left much to be desired during my stay. The dining experience offered tasty vegetarian dishes, and the facilities were adequate for a comfortable stay, albeit at an additional cost for tea making facilities.
